I made an interesting and pleasant discovery yesterday. I'm on the Crystal Cruises Advisory Team, and I've been promoting Crystal because of some of the remarkable educational excursions they offer. Exactly the sort of thing I want to offer to my clients who are hoping to give their teens a leg up on college apps and help them build their "resumes".
Thing is, I always considered Crystal to be more expensive than the alternatives. But they're not! Turns out, by the time you factor in all the things you would have to pay for on other cruise lines -- drinks, some meals, tips -- it actually costs less to live in the lap of luxury. And on most cruises, the kids cruise free! Pretty cool. So now I'm promoting Crystal even harder! lol
