A Note From Paul:
I'm Going to Vegas and YOU'RE NOT!

...and that's something you should celebrate!

It's time for our annual Virtuoso Travel Week™.  This is our 25th year (5th year for me!) and in that time, Virtuoso has become the number one  "go-to"  source for premium travel.

I go to Las Vegas every year at this time to meet with representatives from the top hotels, the finest resorts, the most accommodating airlines and the most experienced tour companies from around the world.  It's like "speed dating" for Travel Consultants -- we meet so many reps in a day that we come home with an entire Rolodex of important names.  (Ok, nobody uses a Rolodex anymore, but you know what I mean.)

Yes, it's exhausting.  But I do it so I can better serve you in the coming year.  So take a look at my list below.  And know that I do it all to make your travel experience the very best experience of your life!

5 Reasons to be Glad I'm Going to Vegas and You're NOT!
One:
I arrive on Friday.  The high temperature for the weekend is 101 degrees.  Oh sure, "it's a dry heat".  So is my oven -- that doesn't mean I want to sleep in it!@!#

Two:
Do you have an upcoming trip?  Did I book it?  Odds are I'll be meeting with the Manager of the hotel or the tour company you'll be with.  Which gives me the opportunity to say "Hey, my friends -- [your name here] -- are staying with you in a few weeks.  What kind of special amenities can you offer them?"  And trust me, they always offer my friends special amenities.

Three:
Tired of the same resorts?  The same hotels?  The same crowd?  Looking for the latest hot location or experience?  If there's something new, you can bet I'll be one of the first Travel Consultants in the country to know about it.  The suppliers know Virtuoso, they know me, and they can't wait to share their best.

Four:
Thinking of upcoming travel, but you're not sure where you want to go?  Virtuoso Travel Travel Week Week is the ultimate annual global travel community event. I am essentially making a "buying trip" on your behalf. Virtuoso Week offers me hundreds of hours of personal networking between my agency and the preferred suppliers in attendance.  Plus I get extensive professional development opportunities!

Five:
Did I mention how hot Las Vegas is in August?  I mean seriously...
This is "fry-an-egg-on-the-sidewalk" hot.  Those fountains outside of Bellagio?  They're not dancing, they're boiling!   Be glad that you're not going to Vegas in August!

So there you go!  Five really good reasons to be glad you're not going to Las Vegas this week...
and I am.  You can probably think of several more on your own!

Until next week...
